The Wisconsin Center for Nursing (WCN) Nurses Respond Now Priority Training* provides individual nurses and healthcare organizations an effective way to meet the Future of Nursing 2020-2030 recommendation of preparing nurses to respond to public health emergencies.

The National RN Practice Development Center is proud to be the education provider for the Wisconsin Center for Nursing Nurses Respond Now Priority Training preparing nurses to better addresses the needs of vulnerable populations during a public health emergency. 

*WCN is a recipient of the 2023 AARP Center for Health Equity through NursingTM and the Future of Nursing: Campaign for Action, an initiative of AARP Foundation, AARP, and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF). Projects selected offer promising solutions aimed at eliminating structural inequities, particularly structural racism, within the nursing profession, health systems, or community, and to help improve access to care and services for those most disproportionately impacted by health disparities.
